"Shri"

"Shri" is a title, meaning roughly "the Honorable"

Sanskrit has the same idea as "Sri" and one occasionally sees it rendered into English in this form without the internal 'h'.

Other honorifics that appear from time to time: -ji or -jee as a suffix is a more familiar way of expressing affection or respect.
