Meherazad 6th December 1967 Dear Amiya, Today, Beloved Baba remembered you, and He wanted to know about you and the family's welfare. But, I had no information from your side, so I could not tell Him anything. I only told Him that Amiya has become very obedient nowadays, and because of the ban on correspondence is no longer writing any letters. Now for the sake of informing Baba, at least you write this much, that how you are and how your family's health is1 and how is the Baba work in Jabalpur going on. Baba is very happy with your love, and He sends, from His seclusion, His love to you, to Matajee, to Sister Gauri, and also His love-filled kiss to Mehernandini and Meher Kumar. Jai Baba Yours affectionately, Bhau <1. Editor's footnote: At the time he received this letter, Amiya was greatly worried. Meher Kumar had been born with a cleft palate, either needed an operation, or shouldn't have one because he was so young, and Amiya didn't know what to do. He couldn't contact Beloved Baba because Baba was in strict seclusion. And then this letter came, once again suggesting Baba's omniscience. The background to all this is in Memoirs of a Zetetic, and in our brief summary here. |
