Ahmednagar 14th September (Date torn off. Looking at post mark it appears to be 1964) Dear Amiya, Your letter of 3rd September was received here, and we also received the sketch done by Mamajee. Baba looked at the sketch and He was very very pleased with it. He liked it very much, and Baba in His happiness sends His love to Mamajee and wants that he should know that his being pleased with Baba makes Baba pleased. That sketch is now kept by us securely, and Baba praises Mamajee for his excellence in art. Baba wants that you give His love to Suromadidi and tell her to remain happy in His love. Till now we have not received any letter from Professor G. C. Varma, when we receive a letter from him, we will definitely give a reply to it. Seth Govindas is a wealthy gentleman, therefore you simply give him a list of Baba's books. If he is inclined to read them, he himself will buy them. Why do you spend money from your own pocket and give him books? Yesterday we received a letter from Sister Gauri, and we immediately sent a letter that she should come back from her father's house to your house and remain there lovingly. She should go on informing and writing letters to Matajee while she is not in this house, and apprise her about all the events happening at your end, and take her as her own mother. I hope you and mother are now back home and are well and now that the atmosphere of your home is good. Baba is pleased with you and sends you His love, and sends His love to Matajee, Gauri, Rajani, and Mamajee and His love-filled kiss to Mehernandini. Jai Baba Yours affectionately, Bhau |
