Pleasant looking, Sir Amiyakumarjee Hazra -- to you affectionate Jai Meher Blessings.
May you know that on 10 October 1957 I sent you a letter that you might have received but I have not received any reply to it, which makes me worried. Also I sent a letter along with that letter to Baba on that same date which has been replied to from Ahmednagar and whatever has been written in it for your perusal is now being said by me directly to you. You will please read that letter and carefully preserve the letter for my sake and when we two meet again you will return it to me. Whatever I wrote to Baba fightingly and even satirically out of my love for Him should make you happy also. And your faithfulness to Baba is going to be the cause of your welfare. As far as I am concerned, I love my Beloved [Baba] as His friend and therefore I'll definitely go to meet my Beloved.
