FREE Google’s URL Shortener / Short URL Free Service goo.gl
Google recently launched a short URL service called goo.gl to the public. Thus every person can use this service to shorten a link address on the internet and do a search URL that is divided by media social networking or email.
Goo.gl first appeared in December 2009 and then as an integral part of Google’s products and can be accessed by the user after registering. For now visitors do not need to register again and can directly use this service. This service alone will compete with other URL shortening services such as Bit.ly or Fb.me.
To attract users, Google claims that this service has the advantage of stability, security, and speed. Goo.gl said to have automatic spam detection features and service availability (uptime) almost 100%. This product also comes with features such as crawler URLs in Google Analytics. Goo.gl Users will be able to see the history of the URL, the source of traffic, referrals, to profile visitors by country, browser application, and platform used.
In addition to standard features, Google turned out to also provide special bonuses that QR code generator that can be used such as to create an image of QR that can be scanned as the URL in question. To make this QR code users simply add the suffix. Qr in the site address will be shortened. There also are informed through Twitter that users can add the suffix.
